Peter Ceravolo started with a clean sheet and a fresh approach when designing his 300 mm aperture, wide field, dual focal length large format Cassegrain astrograph. The aim was to design a versatile imaging instrument capable of illuminating a large CCD detector. The result is a unique instrument with the versatility of both wide field and high resolution imaging with large CCD cameras - all in one telescope.
