Ceravolo Optical Systems specializes in the opto-mechanical design and construction of imaging systems, primarily - but not exclusively - for astronomical applications. Twenty five years of experience guides us in the design of optical systems with manufacturability and field use in mind. Much time is spent exploring solution space so as to realize a design which goes beyond simply meeting specifications while keeping manufacturing costs as low as possible.

Using Zemax optical design software, we have performed design work on everything from microscope lenses to mid size telescopes. The following example, believed to a novel design, is an all-spherical meter class telescope of the Gregorian configuration.
