Fringe Analysis Software
Computerized fringe analysis allows interferometry to be quantitative rather than qualitative. The software available today allows the surface of an optic, or a complete optical system's wavefront, to be mapped in three dimensions. Not being limited to the mere handful of data points typical of other test methods, digital interferometry maps the item under test with hundreds, or even thousands, of data points to get a more complete picture of the surface or wavefront quality.
Ceravolo Optical Systems is proud to offer two software packages: Quick Fringe, professional level software; and FringeXP, freeware courtesy of David Rowe, a professional engineer and advanced telescope maker. Quick Fringe is the lowest cost professional package available -- ideal for optical shops that need seamless, integrated functionality. FringeXP is ideal for the price conscious hobbyist who wants to dabble in high tech measurement techniques. Special thanks to David Rowe for making sophisticated fringe analysis available to the ATM community!
