Ceravolo 300 Optical Design

The Ceravolo 300 Astrograph features a field corrected Cassegrain optical design. A 300mm diameter f/2 aspheric primary yields a compact optical tube assembly, ideally suited to smaller observatories.

The interchangeable field correctors; f/4.9 wide field and f/9 high resolution are an integral part of the optical system and allow for unprecedented versatility. Both configurations fill large format CCDs with sharp images and minimal vignetting. And the advanced opto-mechanical design and spherical Cassegrain secondary significantly simplifies collimation.
