Design Consulting and Fabrication

Ceravolo Optical Systems specializes in the fabrication of custom optics for the general science, industrial and astronomical communities. We produce optics and optical systems of all sizes, from 6 mm diameter lenses to 600 mm diameter mirror systems.

Some of our optics are in Earth orbit, while others are airborne analyzing atmospheric pollutants.

Thirty years of experience guides us in the design of optical systems with manufacturability and field use in mind. Much time is spent exploring solution space so as to realize a design which goes beyond simply meeting specifications while keeping manufacturing costs as low as possible.
Using Zemax optical design software, we have performed design work on everything from microscope lenses to mid size telescopes.
